Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use Quiltoku at this website. It is written to meet Canadian privacy law, including Quebec's Law 25.

1. Who we are

Quiltoku is a free puzzle game made and run by an independent developer in Canada. We are the organization responsible for the information described here.

2. What we collect, and how

3. Why we collect it

To run the game, to answer your messages, to find and fix problems, to keep the site secure, and to show ads that pay for the game. We do not sell your information.

4. Cookies, advertising and profiling

Quiltoku itself sets no cookies and has no analytics or tracking of its own. This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads, and Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Technologies that can identify, locate or profile you are off until you choose to allow them, and you can change your choice at any time. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, you are asked before personalized ads are shown; until you agree, only non-personalized ads are used. Everywhere else you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. For more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. Who has access

Only the developer reads the messages you send. We use a few service providers to run the site:

These providers may handle information outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States. We use them only to run the site, and only for the purposes above.

6. How long we keep it, and how we protect it

Information on your device stays there until you clear it. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to fix the problem, and are then deleted. The site is delivered over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and because there are no accounts, there are no passwords to lose.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to the person in charge below. We will answer within 30 days.

8. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

Developer (person in charge of privacy), Quiltoku
Email: [email protected]

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children

Quiltoku is a general-audience puzzle and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
