The variations
The rule of Quiltoku is always the same: every row, column and box holds each mark once. Everything else is a variation on what the board looks like and what you have to look at. Each variation has its own guide.
- Latin boardsNo boxes, just rows and columns. Includes the story of Euler's thirty-six officers.
- DoubleTwo separate puzzles on one board, a big square and a small circle in every cell.
- ScrambleEvery mark wears a decoy. Only the real colour or shape counts.
- Colours, shapes and patternsThree kinds of marks, and the accessibility modes for players who cannot rely on colour.
- Turned boxesThe same rule with the boxes on their side.
- Inside the logoA ten-by-ten Graeco-Latin square in fabric, and a finished puzzle hiding in its corner.

Read the tutorial and the solving guide first. Every variation arrives in the game one at a time, with a short explainer the first time it appears, and the levels guide shows when.
